PGA Golf Professional, Steve Scheuermann is an avid supporter of junior golf.

Successful junior golf programs have always been one of Steve's most important goals. It has also been one of his areas of greatest achievement. For the past several years we have had over 200 participants in our 4 day clinics and over 100 juniors enrolled in our junior league. In 2002, Steve joined the West Michigan Junior Tournament committee and was quickly elected chairman. That same year I organized the Lake Michigan Junior Golf Tour and held 3 events in addition to the end of the year championship. Two years later the tour has grown in popularity and (now has 8 events in addition to the three day championship tournament at the end of the season. The tour events are held at quality golf courses in West and Southwest Michigan, and offer competition for ages 10-17.

Steve is assisted with Junior Golf activities by Melissa Stob and Dale Vonk.

Melissa Stob (formerly Sneller) has played golf most of her life. She has played in various junior tournaments in West Michigan and won the MHSAA individual state girls championship in 2000.

After graduating from Zeeland High School, Melissa went on to have a standout collegiate career at Grand Valley State University.  She was a four-time All-American and captured ten individual titles.  She finished her collegiate career by winning the 2005 Division II individual women’s national championship.

Melissa has worked in the golf industry for nearly ten years.  She has worked with individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. Melissa is looking forward to helping you with your golf game.
